Creative Memory Design: Designer Stair Risers
These custom stair risers were designed by the homeowner.  They chose the design and materials.  The design is routered by CNC machine into the oak then the design was painted black to make it stand out.  It was then finished with a polyurethane finish.  The homeowner wanted the design on every other riser so it would not look too cluttered.  It gives the home an original look and feel.
   Later the same design was used in the designer curtain rod holders, turning the design horizontal - check it out on that picture.
